Even though my wife has a throne to sit on while riding on the Ultra, and she will be the first to admit that. The only thing that she mentioned was on longer runs her legs and hips would start to bother her before anything else. At a local bike night we noticed a ElectraGlide classic with these pegs on.
My local dealer had them in stock so I did not have to order them. The installation was straight forward. I had to move the passenger floorboards to the lowest position per the instructions. The only recommendation is to add Loctite to the mounting bolts as they have a tendency to vibrate loose.
Now the wife can go from the boards to the pegs to change position of her legs, very similar to highway pegs. Also if you have a passenger that strains to reach the boards, the pegs offer a shorter reach in one of the three positions.
I paid $180 at the dealer for the kit, and it was well worth the price considering that the wife can stay comfortable longer on rides. And we all know if momma aint happy, You aint happy.
Here are some pics with them installed. The photo of us on the bike we are both up on the pegs. I am 6' and she is 5' 2" to give you an idea.
