  • Rushmore Rear Lighting

I know on most '14 and up Touring bikes, there is a gap between the rear fender and the saddle bags...........In Harley's infinite wisdom and an attempt to get more money from you, they offer a solution. That solution is a nice addition as far as I'm concerned.

The install took about an hour tops............And one beer.

    And they are run/turn/brake

The gap between the bag and rear fender.

    Harley's solution

I ordered these form Boardtracker Harley for a substantial savings.........List is $299 and I paid $259 shipping and an additional year warranty.

    Installed without being lit up

    Run

Brakes which have the same brightness as the turn signal portion.

That looks like they feet perfectly! Did you find the plug for the connection or did you have to make your own?

I have looked at these for a year and finally just went ahead and bought them..........No regrets.

I studied the Harley version and the version that Custom Dynamics has.............I decided on the Harley version.

Nice...been looking at them too. Yeah, Harley put them nice chrome frames around that black hole from the factory for a reason. Mine came with a decal, "insert wallet here".

Can I ask what made you pick he Harley version or the Custom Dynamics? A buddy of mine has the Custom Dynamics and likes them but I am leaning toward the Harley ones as I like the halo look for the running lights.

I liked the look of the Harley version better and the Harley version was a true plug and play installation...........My understanding of the CD option was that it was not true plug & play. And I have just had better historical luck and generally have found the Harley products to be better over all quality.
