Boy, that's something else I need to consider. I have a 3/4 HJC with a smoked flip down shield. And, for one thing, it's too old!

One of the things I'll be looking for is the fitment around my ears. I HAD to wear earplugs with this helmet on my old Superglide. I got a resonance in the helmet with that bike... coulda been the Python pipes.

We'll see with TARA, how this works.

      Great write-up, Jeff!

I am pretty sure that HJC manufacturers the helmets for Harley, just has the Harley logo and an increase in price at the dealership. But, no one around here carry's the line of HJC helmets and I am not about to buy one unless I can try it on in the store.

So that leaves me buying at the Harley dealership............And I'm ok with that as they're local to me and I like supporting local if I can. Both the local dealerships have been good to me and when they see the anchor tattoo on my arm they generally offer me a 10% Veterans discount. So most of the gear I wear comes from the dealer.

And Frank, like Kevin said, the modular is awful nice in the cold and/or rain.

Send the Stealth helmet over to me.
i will see if Stealth will cover it under warranty or do a rebuild on it with the better equipment.
