                  1. sketch of flag on premask on aluminum
                  2. unmasked and painted blue (stars still masked)
                  3. pulled red stripe masking off, recovered blue
                  4. painted red
                  5. unmasked entire piece (BTW: Kustom shop paint lava red pearl and intense blue pearl)
                  6. added highlights and shadows for the ripple effect (first time doing this)
                  7. close up of a star 3D effect
                  8. everything highlighted again
                  9. pic of vinyl pow-mia stencil outline
                  10. highlighted and shadowed outside of stencil
                  11. peeled away inside of stencil
                  12. masked everything
                  13. cut away masking to work on inside of stencil
                  14. highlighted and shadowed inside of stencil
                  15. peeled masking off
                  16. peeled stencil off, DONE! ready for clearcoat
                  pics to come
