Ever been working with Bondo or any other body filler and have it get hard to fast?:crazy
Talked to the tech people at 3M yesterday about the problem I was having with the Bondo I was using on the hardtail frame, I would mix it and it would get hard, super fast, was tossing 50% in the trash! Tried cutting down on hardener and still had same problem!:aahhh
The tech told me to store the tube of hardener in the frig and keep it cool, this would slow down the chemical reaction and give me more working time with the product. He said that high heat and high humidity would make it harden faster so by cooling the hardener it should help!:help
Well after letting the hardener sit in the frig for two hours I tried it, I got about 3 more minutes of working time out of the mixture and didn't have to toss any Bondo out, it all made it to the frame!!!:brian
