Well, after alot of research and talking to a few people that have this oil cooler, I feel that this is the best oil cooler to have one a touring bike. If anyone is interested, this cooler sells for 450.00 plus shipping and handling through www.ultracoolfl.com, but I found a company that is selling them for 335.00 plus 1.99 handling fee. I got mine for 336.99. What a deal. Now I will be able to enjoy riding a much cool bike. The website for the company is www.cycleaccessorystore.com

My H-D accessory cooler keeps the oil temp down about 20'F lower than without it when I'm movin'. I hadn't even seen one of those till you posted it up. This one being fan cooled would work much better in traffic & such. I'd pro'lly buy one if I didn't already have the factory accessory. Let us know how it does.Bill

Well, here is my opinion. Cooler looks great, I think it is going to work great, quality is excellent. My only problem is the cover piece is a little bulky but hopefulle once on the bike you will not notice. I will take that sacrifice to eliminate some of the heat. I may have the cover chromed, but want to see it on the bike first, I don't wanna make an eyesore by chroming it or painting it. If the black blends in, that is what it will be. BTW, instructions say a difficulty of 7 out of 10. Will post some pics. later.Dale
