depends on how convenient the brands are to get. i've used both and can't say either is better than the other. i use amsoil now, but because my buddy is a dealer
Crazy people don't know they're crazy, I know I'm crazy therefore I'm not crazy, isn't that crazy.....

Same here, also my local Atwoods sells the Amsoil if i need some in a pinch. But I try to order plenty from my buddy since they sell it for over $12.00/qt.

Both are Great oils...Mobil 1 is easier to get...walk into an Autozone.around $9.49/qt.....Amsoil is through a dealer,,a little harder to come by usually...I use Mobil 1 V-Twin synthetic, 20W-50 in my motor & primary...Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil in my trans...75W-140..runs cool & quiet..

Both are good, I use the Mobil1 cause I've used it in my truck for 10 years and I can get it at Advance Auto around here. Looked high and low locally for Amsoil, Redline and Spectro products and finally found Spectro at Iron Pony in Cbus, Use that in my tranny and primary.

Using Amsoil, in all holes, no problems. Great reviews and white papers and have not heard any negative comments. Have now started using in all equipment at work. We use less on a daiky basis and holds better oil pressure through the miles. IMO
Those who say it can't be done should get in the way of those doing it.

Both are quality oils, 6 one way, half dozen the other. I used both, but currently run Mobile1 in my 08 UC because it is easier to get where I live. Also a little cheaper. I think 10.00 per quart if I remember right.

sporties are a two oil bike, and big twins are a 3 oil bike.

feel lucky if you only have one oil to fill.......are we talking the busa ?

                              my take on oil ?
                              change it often !!!

the brands you can choose from are a luxury, not a requirement.......
