  • Throttle adjustment

Added new grips and bars on a few weeks ago. Every since then, I've had a lot of "play" at the bottom end of my throttle grip.

In other words, from the rest position until tension is applied to the throttle cable there is a good amount of room. It's no big hassle, but annoying and I know it shouldn't be there. I haven't had the chance to look at it yet, but any ideas or advice before I pull it apart?

    Thanks!

when i put drags on my sporty, the same situation occured, i ended up doing a basic adjustment of the cables at the bar end, and this seemed to correct the problem...my main concern was getting the main, and return cables tensioned to match...now with your EFI setup, i'm unsure how your cables connect to the motor side...i would check to make sure when the cables were relaxed, they didnt slip or twist on the mount points of the engine, and in the throttle housing on the bars......just my .02......g
