  • 2008 Touring Maintenance Book

I have been using one like this on my truck for some time, and decided to finish the one for the bike. What it is for practical purposes is a small notebook that has oil change log and PMCS/Modification log plus a bunch of information such as bulb type and part numbers, lube and oil charts. So when you go to the dealership, or don't feel like digging through 1200 pages of shop manual.
I have attached a PDF file that you can print out and hole punch, trim with scissors for what ever size notebook you get. Mine fits perfect in the pouch in my tourpak.

I added the DTC procedures, and codes as this will be handy on the road if you have issues.

Now this is for and came from the 2008 touring service manual. So you mileage may vary.

And before anyone asks PMCS stands for Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services.

Thanks for posting the attachment and sharing all the hard work. I've been putting off making one for the bike but I still keep a log of things I've done. I've made one for pretty much everything from my rifles (dope book) to my truck to the lawn equipment. I'm going to use yours and change it up a bit for my 09...Thanks again!

Dave, I created an Access DB that does the same thing. I can send you or anyone else who wants a copy if you want.
