  • Foot Peg lean

Before I ask...nothing was bent. Now let me begin. My right foot peg goes down past the straight position and slightly angles down. My Sportster did this too. Anyone else have this issue (not a big issue but annoying to loo at).

seems to me if the holes are not ovaled then they have to be bent..my buddies sporty has a left foot peg lean..remove right side peg install on left if its the same something is bent period

Do you get on from the right (high) side? Do you step on the peg then swing your leg over?? If you are putting all your body weight on 1 peg, you may have bent it. Guess it would depend on how heavy you are. I do that on my foot board, I'm 246# and haven't bent mine......yet.

                  Good Luck!

Screwball, are you saying that you step on the foot board to mount the bike? Which side you mount from?

I'm 226 and growing. I have forward controls so I don't put my weight on them while mounting.

I took the peg off and the hole was ovaled a bit. So I traded it with my rear peg that was npt ovaled. It's still leaning. I guess the problem isn't as bad as paying $50 for a new taillight after backing into a fence.

Or bore the holes to the next size bigger bolt.
