    So DAVE 63 is expert, DAVE dont I have to drill tiny holes in all the bolts I wanna safety wire now. I wanna do that tranny side door??

      Yes, you'll need to drill each allen bolt twice. It's easier to mark them at the appropriate spot NOW, while they're tight, then one at a time, take them off, drill them, replace them, and wire them.

        Don't Know about Dave, but iffin you be talking bout AV style safety wire, yep gotta drill, insert wire and twist!!!! Stainless wire!!!!

          vlade,

          They have bolts that are for safety wire applications with the holes already drilled in the bolts and fasteners. I have used them before, also for what you are wanting or asking about you will need one of these:

            Any spot in particular to shoot for? wonderin about structural integrity of the bolt.

              I generally look to drill down the center. Take your time as to not break off any bits.

                Hummm I could look for the bolts. that jig is a good idea, have to fab one, 45 bucks is lotsa moola I could spend fer chrome

                  Dave posted up pics of wiring jigs. I have all those. I'll mail them to you and you can borrow them, before spending the money for them.....

                              Well thinkin back to all the holes I drilled in my fingers workin itybity makin all those sizes just right ,,,,, maybe 45 bucks aint that bad. If yall both got one it might be a good idea
