Laconia

Just want to keep putting this out with Laconia around the corner. HERDstock is right around the corner and very shortly afterwards is Laconia bike week.I live about 1hour 15 minutes from Laconia. Any HERD member is welcome to camp on my property. If you want to hit the action of bike week but not be all up in it 24/7 camping on my land would be perfect. Don't get me wrong Laconia is okay but there is so much to see and do in the area one should take advantage of it while in the area.

My shower/bathroom/kitchen can be shared. I just don't have the room to put people up in my house as my daughter and grandson are temprarily home and using the 2 spare bedrooms I use to have. 4 acres of my immediate yard is all cut/landscaped and maintained regularly. I do have a hay barn too.

Hmm only 400 miles from me. I will have to see if I have any vacation time left after HERDstock and take a saturday off and head up on a Friday.

Hey, Bad.. I'm not gonna be able to make Laconia this year but I gotta say I wish I could! Been to most of the other national runs.. Very cool post/thread indeed!

That's cool Bad! As a life long NH resident I really hope to make Laconia one of these years and may have a shot to make it for a couple days at the end if work permits. 43 years in this state and I've never made it to bike week!:madcow

Having gone to numerous Laconia's over the years ( I been going since I been 18 months, I got a picture to prove it) I am happy to live outside it and popping in for the day. Its not fun for me anymore to be drunk all night and unable to sleep much as a consequence of all the noise not to mention camping is not as glamorous as a hotel these days. It almost always rains predominatly thru Laconia bike week. Its just that time o year.

Thats why I pretty much offer anyone who wants to particpate in Laconia but not marry it are welcome to home 20 on my property if they want.
