    o.k.
so my chin whiskers is gettin pretty long now and i find when i ride the Glide, they are whippin the sheit outta my nose and cheeks. im either gonna have to cut it off or tie it up...dont really want all that production.....what i wanna know is:::::::

do those lower fairing wind deflectors really work?

its kinda hard to tell where the force of the wind is coming from , but it seemed like today it was coming straight up from the rear cylinder and hitting me under the chin...just wanna know before i lay out $80 that they work......................thanks

an elastic band works pretty good, less than a penny each.

Toor, actually spoke with the HD shop foreman today about those covers.....he bought those that snap in on the inside of your fairing........didn't work....alot of the wind is coming around the fairing.....I was thinking about getting a set and he told me I'm wasting my money!!

I bought the deflector that mounts behind/on the triple tree. I think it helped. Most of my wind is coming between the fairing and the lowers now. As you may know the fork mounted deflectors may not work with the lowers.
Those who say it can't be done should get in the way of those doing it.

I don't have to tie mine whiskers up yet. Although, I'm workin' on it. Maybe by spring it will be long enough to tie with a gumband. (Pittsburghese gumband=rubber band)
