  • Did ya know...

    ...that if you drill a hole in your saddle bag to run an air line through, and you Don't seal it with something, and your ride to work and then leave your bike parked in the rain for 5 hours, the insurance enrollment paperwork in said saddle bag WILL be ruined???

    Actually I think I did know that..........they just don't make them like they used to...........

            I don't know if this will help ya but I have my documents in a sealed plastic. Not that you can dump it in the pool and go down 100' but enough to prevent any splash from rain water.

                          I used ta' do that with the right side cover in my Windjammer fairing on my (OMG I used ta ride one!) Suzuki GT750 water buffalo. I hada drain line down the frame tube and a makeshift ice chest in the fairing for my beers. That was a long time ago when the DUI laws were nonexistent. I never thought of puttin' a hole in my Harley saddlebag, I cringe at the thought!
