Galveston's Lone Star Rally

Any Texas area guys heading out to the Lone Star Rally this weekend? I believe Boss is headed out there but I just wanted to see who else might go. This year they will be honoring all the men and women that are serving and served in the military. As always the event is free.

You know if there are any hotel rooms available anywhere in the Vicinity? I was thinking about heading down, but the camping gear is at my dad's house up in Arkansas.

I'm sure there are. I know there are alot of them on the right outside of Galveston, maybe less than 10-20 miles that are nice (and cheap!) There may be some in left in Galveston too.

How far are you willing to travel to a room? We are approximately 75 miles North of Galveston but in between there are many locations.

Sorry, this week has been crazy busy. I do check in with the phone form time to time. Jenny and I are planning on leaving the house around 11-noon and grabbing a bite to eat at a Seafood restaurant we know of off 45. After Lunch we'll head out to the rally for the fun. We ( I ) don't want to go too early and get there before anything opens. Plus I, have to work until midnight the day before.

Wait a minute, the "I" that I put in brackets looks like a little ass. Am I in trouble for that? Oh well!

Here they come! We got the plans set for Saturday. It's not too late for people to come on down.

Boss's friend is already there (first road cone in right...I meant bike). HAHAHA!
