Had a bunch of chit to do yesterday, and just a reminder for those heading in to fall weather riding.

The weather didn't quite hit 50* and there was on and off very light showers. A couple points came to mind.

    - your boots, and brake lever are wet and cold, makes them slick

    - the light rains make roads the slickest

    - tires don't run at the same temps and can slide easily when down shifting and under acceleration

    - these conditions make evasive maneuvers more difficult, leave yourself more room when in traffic and a little more time to make your destination

Not everyone, but some(myself included) need a little reminder once in a while. Make sure you make it a safe one.

And don't forget, when the cagers look a ya funny 'cuse you ride the crappy wet cold weather, wave like this

Thanks reverend! Also take into account the fallen leaves that are covering pavement.

Yeah I 've been noticing that here in Kansas now that the weather has turned to fall, that the Leaves, and wet have combined to be
more tricky riding. Several times yesterday on the way to the dealer to drop my bike off, when I came to a stop my left boot slid
a couple of times. Once I was on a little built up residue from the 4 wheelers, other times it was just the combo of the wet and colder
weather. Definitely have to be on your toes even more now in this weather.
            Regards Sonny
