  • Vietnam Moving Wall

Today I took a ride towards the beach to see the Moving Wall which has been set up for viewing in Currituck NC for a couple of days..

The wall is 1/2 the size as the one in DC and is an exact replica.

As I approached I was greeted by a vet who gave me a brochure and asked if I was looking for any particular name on the wall. I'm lucky in that everyone I knew that went to Vietnam came home so I didn't have a name to look for but it still wasn't easy to walk down the wall and see all the names on it.

Saw it last summer in St. Ignace MI. It's quite a site and was quite "moving"(absolutely no pun intended)...............God Bless Them All.

I've been to the original one in DC, but never have seen the mobile one.
I didn't know anyone who didn't return, but it makes no difference, I got chocked up when viewing it anyway
