Just got word that a friend, a good friend had a bad one yesterday.
Seems my buddy "Zipper" and a cage pulled out on to one of our very busy city streets from opposite sides, he behind her. Apparently the car decided to stop and he tried to pull around her, clipped the back end and then was hit by another car. From what I gather, broken arm, hand and leg in three places. Surgery last night and more today to repair his leg. I hope I can get in by this evening or tomorrow to see him..............Ironically, I met this fine man when I had an accident on mine four years ago. He was the first on scene and the help I needed.
I gotta tell ya, this is one of those people who doesn't have much,(he is already on a disability pension) but gives everything. Would give ya the shirt off his back, and is always first to help people who are in need.(Seems the people with least, try to give the most) The bike he rides was actually given to him by someone who thought that much of this person.
If there was ever a person who needed prayers, Zipper is the one right now.
