well here is it. not gonna get to into the details, the pics pretty much speak for themsleves.
MONDAY
picked up free stock pipes for some 90s sporty, with nice screaming eagle slip ons. it was in much rougher shape than it appears...

monday night, a uni-bit and 2 dead drill batteries later

TUESDAY
deleted crossover pipe, welded up the holes, pipes were nasty and blue,
BEFORE

AFTER- i just used a drill with a wire wheel to "swirl" the metal

WEDNSDAY
got stuff back from being sandblasted and powder coated, i went with super high gloss black, you just dont see shiney black exhaust systems!


i got it all installed last night, waitied til today after a nice long ride to take some good day pics. wow in the sun you sure can see how stained the black engine cases are!


so total cost
exhaust- $0
drilling shileds $10 (drill bit)
powder coating $0 (he owed me a favor)
and i sold the drag pipes that were on the bike tday for $120 so i made money, order my progressive drop in fork springs this afternoon.
