Jeff asked me to take some close up pics of the GPS/Radio setup on my RK so here it is. The GPS is a Garmin Nuvi 765t, it has bluetooth and MP3 player. The Radio is a Shark audio 100W am/fm with a aux input for the MP3 player. I had a 3 bag windhshield bag that I removed the end bags, drilled some hole and mounted the speakers. I just plug the GPS into the radio and I can play music while it naviagates. I also bought the hardwire kit for the GPS and wired it into my fuse box so I do not have to rely on the battery power. The whole system works very well and I can hear the music crusin at 70. All the mounts are from RAM.






I mounted the remote for the radio on the left hand controls...HEY HOW DID THAT SLIP IN THERE..I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS

Hey wav, where did you buy your Shark radio? I can get one from ebay for $87.

got on ebay a couple of years ago, i think i paid $70 for it. It is a nice unit and puts out some good sound for such an inexpensive unit.

I have the same radio (I have the 250w version) and I wired it directly to the battery. The positive cable has a fuse inline so it's no problem. Press the "Mode" button for 5 seconds and it turns the radio On/Off.

Yep wired mine to the battery also and yep works just lie G says, he is a wise man!!

Do they give you enough wire to hide it or run it along with other wires to get it to the battery or did you need extra?

there was plenty, i want say there was a 4 to 5 foot lead on it

I have the same 100w stereo as wave. They give ya plenty of wire Jeff, i just ran my wire under the tank panel to the battery so ya can't see it. I found it on utube and ended up buying mine direct from the company http://www.gooddeals18.com/c=4ZvZK0Q...orcycle_audio/

My only complaint is i bought mine in 07 and my speakers are discoloring pretty bad now so i guess i'll have to paint em black, as much as i don't want to.
