  • Hit a skunk

Well on the way home tonight it was about 9pm and out of nowhere a skunk appears right in front of me...I think it got hit by an oncoming car and spun into my lane at the last moment. I never saw it until just before i ran over it. I don't know how my bike doesn't smell like skunk right now i guess i got lucky cause i nailed it with both tires, I decided it was best not to swerve and to just go over it.

      Poor li'l guy...

Glad you're okay, that could've been far worse! And if you'd locked up on top of him... I'm pretty sure smell would come up as an issue.

That definitely could have been stinky. On my weekend ride I saw a fairly fresh one that someone had hit, but there wasn't any smell...Lucky me.
Glad you made it through ok.

Damn, man! You missed a golden opportunity for a prank.

Back in High School we came across a road-killed skunk that wasn't leakin and "used" it to perform a little mayhem @ the school's air handler intake... that was a classic.
                    Off for a week.

JJ - Anytime we see an injured animal it bothers real bad. Hope in this case it was already gone to a better place! Glad to hear the way you handled the situation. I think most in here would have done the same thing.

Hey MONK...They might still be looking for you! LOL
