    put a Daytona Twin ignition module in this afternoon and after 80 some miles she's not missed a beat.

              cool, I knew that once you eliminated the coil, plugs and wires, it had to be somewhere in the ignition module

                Dang....................great news but I still wouldn't think it was the module, learn something new ever day I guess!

                  If this hadn't worked I think I'd have taken it for a long ride off a short pier. LOL

                  and for once the plan came together,the ordered part was the right one and arrived when it was supposed to.everything went back on nice and easy and I didn't have any parts laying on the floor when I finished,amazing.:)

                            Cool! HH! Sucks when we have to learn after replacing parts we did'nt need too. Great to hear your back up and riding!

                              I still need to tweek the timing a bit but I have it real close.Other than that she needs a cool washing and waxing to get the fingerprints and such off and she'll be good to go.

                              and thanks to a tip from the guy I ordered from I'm gonna change the oil and filter just in case some gas has gotten in the oil from all the riding I did with the fouled plug.
