  • Kickstand install....

    Finally got a kickstand leg, Any tips or advice on installing it. I got a new spring also. No way to do it alone I rekon so I'll have to find a helper to hold the bike up.

        When I did mine I put the spring on the kickstand and then to the frame, then I worked the kickstand itself into the mount. It worked ok.

          I always just use a M/C Jack, but what do I know???

                i got it done, just leaned the bike up against a wall. lol my motorcycle jack covers the whole area where the kickstand is so it blocks it all off. anyway its done, and the pimp lean is gone, stands up real straight now. lol

                  I am such a dumbazz, totally missed what you were asking. I have an air lift and always park on I so I never had any issues like that.

                      Actually I put on a kickstand. Made by schwinn, got it at target for $6. Sure beat the $88 HD wants for a "Jiffy stand"
