I like the look, but it'll take some getting used to the seat. Changed the center of gravity substantially.

Real comfortable, though! Gotta get some time on it and see how it helps my poor tailbone.

I like it! Hope it helps with the tail bone.....Seems to me the tail bone problem is a result of seating postion, if you're sitting right at that angle that all your weight is on the tail bone theres no helping it...sometime need to change peg position and add more pegs so you have a choice

With me the problem is I sank too far into the stock 2-up. If I had a butt, that would keep the tailbone elevated out of the cushion some.
This one is a lot firmer, so I don't sink in.

Like anything, it'll take some "gettin' used to" time.

The good thing I can report already is the seat is in perfect condition, and cost about half what a new one would've.

Yep the stock seats aren't much of it.....if the new seat doesn't do the whole job, look at the rear shocks...progressive 440's are nice!

Looks real good on the bike...I really enjoy my Mustang, it definitely made a difference in the amount of time i can spend on the bike. With the old LaPera I had on before I could only get about 50miles of riding done before my lower back and tailbone were hurting.

I like the way it sits now! Did it lower you at all?

I've been considering the tailbone condition and I think that because of my chronic noasatal the tailbone carries a disproportionate amount of my upper body mass.
Now, I'm not fat, bit I'm fairly solid. That's a lot of weight to balance on about 6 square inches.
With this one, my weight is spread out over the whole seat as it should be.

I'm sure it'll be an improvement.

It is the Custom, so it only has about 9.5 inch rear shocks, though we did raise the front with the fork preloading.

Looks good Monk and getting the seat for a deal helps too. H-D stock seats are not butt friendly it doesn't matter how much or how little natural padding you have in your pants.

                            Makes no diff, eh?

I feel like I'm sittin' quite a bit higher. Gotta look into some short apes now, I guess.

Yeah I swapped back n forth, most say the Mustang vintage is about an Inch higher and an inch back.
To me It felt like a half inch higher and an Inch forward.
There may be lower profile cooler lookin seats that will keep my ass happy but this Stang seat,,I like.
