But tonight while I was heading back home with my family going down the freeway doing 70mph o guy on a crotch rocket passed me on the right side as if I was sitting still. Oh yeah, I was already in the right lane. He passed me at an exit and continued weaving through traffic. Wearing baggy pants and a tee shirt...

Sometimes life gives us exactly what we keep asking for. When this azzhat lays this down and smears himself across the freeway I won't shed the first tear for this guy.
He will be getting just what he's been asking for.

I agree Jim. One day on the way home from work a crotch rocket came flying past me on the right barely missing the front of my truck and crossing 3 lanes squeezing between two cars as he did. I called him a few choice names then his buddy came up in the left hand lane and slowed because the two card his friend slipped between were now side by side. This guy, with a girl on back, split lanes between these two cars that were both doing about 70. For the next 20 miles I waited to see their smeared remains on the highway.

I just don't get the whole going real fast thing on the hwy.that's for the track and in competetion. I like my rides nice and comfortable and not at a harrowing pace.

I was once passed by two sport bikes on a two lane road. One passed me on the left and one passed me on the right. I don't know why I didn't see or hear them coming -- probably because I was doing about 45 and they were doing 80. I use the whole lane when I ride, moving from side to side and the center depending on traffic or conditions. They could have hit me.

I have my "inner sanctum," that being the fellas I ride with the most; the fellas I trust above all else. Nighty 23 is one of them but there are a couple others, one that rides a metric cruiser and another that through intervention, we got off a crotch rocket and onto a sporty. I believe we may have saved his life. I don't have an elitest attitude against rice rockets but I think unless you're racing one on a track, why buy it? They're designed to race, priced to be raced. I should disclose the fella that got onto the sporty is waiting to receive his fate from the dot, he got clocked at almost 110 on his shiny new sporty. At least he can't do 180 anymore.

Got that right. I was I-275 going to work last week, I was in the center lane, traffic on both sides, traffic was slower than normal, had 2 FLY passed me 1 on each side.

Thats a scary feeling. Gives me goosebumps every time. What if when they are flying by at a high rate of speed you accidently and in proper procedure change lanes. It would be a mess.

My son a trooper, has stated that 98% of accidents are on rockets. Clocked one at 150 and yes they did catch him after he was laying on the asphalt. I have had them pass me on 2 lane.sharp blind curves.

The sad thing is, most folks riding those bikes like that are just kids and often times they never see adult hood as a result.
