  • What do y'all think about this?

Okay, as most of you all know, I laid the bike down yesterday. I've been calling all the good painters around and they all about a month behind on repairs. I'm not in that big of a hurry but they all want the bag there waiting. I started thinking about Harley's saddlebag extensions to hide the damage so I can still ride and not look silly. I was also thinking about getting the CVO rear fender to go with it and have it all painted at the same time. What do y'all think about the extensions and the rear fender? The only thing I wish it had was the tri-light at the bottom.

I'm a fan of more and brighter lights on the back but with the right paint scheme it can look pretty good.

I like the looks of the extension and it shoud cover up the few lines of road rash!

Thats what I was thinking. I could just drop them off and ride till they are ready for me to put on.

Painted right, those style bags and what-not look better than alot of other bagger options.

One of the builders at the RoT is making a bagger for the competition this year, local guy that does some work for me:
(This isn't the bagger for the competition...err one of them is from a few years back)

It's not "derailed", as long as the last post relates to the post above it...it's just on a different rail, heading into a more interesting direction

Sorry to hear :( ...I didn't know that happened!

I like the extensions etc...of course I have a CVO RG

I think it makes the bags closer to the ground, there are little wear tabs on them, so that might make a difference if you like to do those peg draggin coners!
