Thanks guys, Yeah they are 16's I originally planned on going with 14's but they were out of stock on those and i was impatient. Definitely glad i went with 16's they are very comfortable and a better fit, 14's would have been too short i think.

Okay....I have a question. I currently have mini-apes on my SB (10 or 12). Being that my arms aren't the longest would it be practical to put 14's on? My dealer doesn't have any bikes in the shop that have apes on so I have no frame of reference.
Just looking at how the apes changed the look of your ride makes me want to add some to mine. MAN, I dig your ride!

When a friend of mine wanted some taller apes on his he ordered some cheap ebay risers and installed them to see if he'd like the height. It helped him out because he thought the height he wanted with was too tall for him.

I agree.... I was going to suggest just that. It'll also give you a perfect platform to see what cables need to be replaced, and if so, how much more to add.....

Check 6, no such thing as apes being too high, so go with whatever you think you will like. another thing to try, sit on your bike and have someone use a tape measure, any measurement from your armpits to shoulders should be perfectly comfortable. or in my case 7 or 8 inches above your shoulders
