Was talking to my buddy's bro-in-law at a grad party Sunday and he was asking m about what I thought his '67 Sportster might be worth AS IS. I am attaching a pic he sent me of what it looked like assembled. It developed a tank leak and he took it completely apart and it is basically a basket case now, disassemble for 12+ years. I know some of you guys have done a lot with these old Sportys and would value your opinion on what you think this is worth in the basket. Thanks HERD!

UMMMM, Senor'.........
that bike is begging to come live with me, and let me cuddle and spoon with it daily and nightly. my wife can sleep on the couch, she won't mind......I hope
ok, as a basket (motor torn down????) it's not worth a whole lot.
and also depends upon the condition of the motor itself, torn down or not.
I will say about $1500 to $2000 max as a basket with title.
But I have 4 kids that I am willing to rent out for slave labor in trade for it. That is one sexy scoot. If I had any money period, I would be beating on your door in about 4 hours or however long it took me to get to you...seriously, that could be put back together as something that I could only dream of owning.....hey, it's an Ironhead, I love em

I gotta say about the same: $2000 range, with title. If it were together and could hear it run, $3500 or so. Hopefully then engine was stored correctly.**Note: The technical info I provide is suggestive. I am not a perfeshunel.

I would think, if the motor is off the bike, before putting it back in might be good to tear down the top end and inspect/rebuild if neccesary.
will $17.43 buy it?
