I think the only thing I have that's official "Harley Davidson" is the bike itself. I need a decent light weight jacket for riding so I went to the dealership figuring I could find something nice for riding. The basic jackets start around $140. Hey, it's only a jacket! WTF, I can't bring myself to spend that much for a jacket. I guess I'll keep looking and I'd like to try them on first so I guess I'll try somewhere else.

Can someone explain how the MoCo can charge that much?

Man.. You are the cheapest!! Tell ya what though, I'm done buying HD dealer shirts. Sure I have a lot of em and I'll wear them till they're done for. HD is all about American made and all that stuff and yes I know that a lot of the parts are made overseas. But $28. for a T-shirt made in china. Ain't buying em anymore. There's plenty of aftermarket American companies and builders I can buy stuff from. Much cheaper too!

Hell now that I think about it their shirts are probably made in China too. Well maybe their printed here, ya just can't win.

those are the nigerians :) the last t-shirt i got from HD was made in Mexico. I got my summer jacket from leatherup.com its not too bad, my leather jacket i have had for nearly 23 years and its still holding up. I don't remember where it came from (got it as a gift) but its made in the USA.

Just got my Fox leather vest...the leather is so nice and soft, very well made...and made in the USA!!!! Oh yeah....way better leather and made better than the 2 HD jackets I have!

Yeah Strat I got one dealer T,,28 bucks,,I Got one just as nice at the Leesburg bike fest,,17 bucks.
I just can't bring myself to leather jackets,,I got an old one, works ok when It's cold. leather would cook me down here In Florida's 90 degree heat and 90% humidity.

I do have a couple t-shirts from trades with guys and they are nice quality and yes, they're expensive. I've got a nice heavy leather jacket that I wear when it's cold and with zipout lining and vents it's not too bad when it warms up but I was looking for something more lightweight. Since I wear a XXL maybe I can buy two of those ladies jackets and sew them together. Might work....

I've got a handfull of HD T's but I only buy em if they have pin-up girls on em...I don't want one otherwise....
