so a buddy of mine calls says he has a line on some V&H long shots

they are on a 05 TC fatboy

he says his pal says they will fit my 99 EVO fatboy

im scratching my head and nodding left to right......i says i dont think they will bolt up

he's says if i want them for $150 there mine, and there flawless

besides the fact that i dont think i want em, i dont think they'll bolt on

am i wrong?

Just to answer this old question in case somebody has the same question. Yes they will. But if they came off a fuel injected bike, you have to block the o2 bungs. I just bolted a set of V&H Longshots off a TC Softail onto my buddies 98 Softail. I'm pretty sure they are even the same part #.

I know a guy looking for a set, if you don't want em, see if the guy wants to sell em to someone else, and how much to ship em to my area

my buddy has longshots on his heritage, but the heatshields are screwed up, and you wouldn't believe what V&H wants for just a pair of heatshields

Toor, i Put a set of the short shots on my 99 fatboy they came off a 2005 as well i believe. Autotec is correct and be careful putting in the O2 bungs...I stripped out one it doesn't take much to tighten them.

i took the v-h true duels off my 89 and put them on my 01 ultra then i took the stock header cut and blocke the left pipe off built my own 2 into 1 and holly shit what a diff the evo likes it alote
