it is easy and our bikes come with most of the hardware needed.i have a springer so i dont have pinch bolts but everything else is the same
on the older controls the clutch side signal has a bracket that isnt on the right side.you will need 2 of these HD part#67829-88
to relocate install a stud in the upper or lower triple tree pinch bolt long enough to add a spacer to bring it out flush and it cant crush went torqued then add signal bracket and an acorn or similar to hold in place..now just screw on the signal and its done..i did it on my new springer same thing different bolts..
took about an hour start to finish..after it was done i took them apart and painted them black..since ive changed them for the chrome swivels as i got them for my birthday from the family..if they hadnt got them for me id still be running the painted black ones
