I know Pro50 sold one to Jirvin on this thread. Pro50 when he gets back on might be able to shed a light.

Bigun, I have zero experience with the Vance & Hines fuel pac, but I was shootin' the chit with a fella at Skagit HD today who was there because his new 2010 Street Glide was runnin' crappy. The tech came out to discuss it with him and I overheard their conversation. In a nutshell, the Fuel Pac that he had recently installed when he put on the new V & H pipes was malfunctioning. They decided to repalce it with some racing something or other. Maybe V & H is having a problem with them. Are you?

I have replaced my air cleaner with the high flow kit and pipes with V and H true dual big shots and now I get a lot of pop and crack and want to know if this would take care of this problem because it is a hell of a lot cheaper than the HD race tuning

AHHH, that's they decided to replace it with, the HD Race Tune! I couldn't remember.

i had one on my street glide with the stage 1 a/c and rinehart true duals. it worked great and was easy ito nstall and program. i had no issues with it at all. no popping exaust or the like. the only reason i replaced it with the TTS Mastertune was i am installing cams and after that i plan on doing a 107" S&S cylinder swap and the TTS has more tunning features than a fuel pack. it will work good for you with the options you stated. i cant say anything negative about the fuel pack.

                hope this helps

Thanks it does help my bike has been in the shop for a month after the wreck and that gives me lots of time to think of things I want to do. I am going to have HD do the performance down load for about $200 while they have it and see how that works

Sorry I missed this earlier. I have one, installed it myself. I bought it from Eastern Performance for about $220. I do not have the stage I download, you don't need it if you go FuelPak because they have maps for with and without the download, so save your money if you are getting one. Give me a shout if you have questions, I did all this back in December, have a somewhat different setup than you but not radically so. V-Twin forums also has a HUGE thread on these.

So as a side question. Just because you replace the stock pipe with a V&H high flow 2 into 1 does that mean I'll need to add a fuel pack or mess with that? I have a Screamin Eagle muffler on it now.

They told me if I used the right pipes I wouldn't have to do anything else
But I like loud pipes so I went with v and h true dual big shots

I installed on on my 2006 ultra - v&h pipes and free flow air cleaner - install is easy - hardest part is the bolts on the ECU, the inserts slipped inside the plastic and we had to work to get them out. Once installed just plug in the 18 numbers for the map you chose and put the side cover back on. I've been emailing a tech at fuelpak back and forth tinkering with the settings. My mileage dropped from 42 to 33mpg. I've got the mileage back to about 37 but with it came more popping. It's easy as can be to change the settings. What I find irritating is because of EPA regulations you don't know what you are changing, just numbers. I intend to put my bike back to stock. I'd rather have better gas mileage than the few extra HP a stage 1 gives me. I'll prolly sell my fuelpak and pipes once I'm happy with the way the bike is running.
