I got a lot a swell wire comes in the motorcycle harness , Just dont think I can use anything put the "power" in and out ones.

Mic jack, not going to have no cell phone
Mini USB, for a traffic receiver? naw cost too much to scribe.

Headphone jack,? I thought I might could use this one plugged into my HK sound system but I dont see where.

Thats what I was thinkin but the suggested handlebar mount would be about the same, The dash pockets eliminate the dash mount but I wasnt crazy about mountin it to plastic or drillin holes in it either. Right now I can cut the stalk low or high, just wonder if I'd opt higher for easier seein or lower for less wobbleywewobble.

I'D giver a try first, start er up and see, cuz i mounted mine and holy fuk it made me dizzzy !!!

Not to mention the screen was changin views by it self....didn't lock the screen....

I'm currently lookin to do a custom thingy with my old H-D dash box.

I know the thing will pitch idling Craiger, did you get it on the road? Coarse idling is gonna be when your screwin with the touch screen too. I had thought about tieing the bars together with a cross bar and mounting it on that like on a bicycle.


Only not weld it just use some bar clamps

YA i did try it on the road, found it still hard to focus on, sooo i just handed it to the wifey and said

"Tell me where to go" !!

Sounds like its sucking all the way around. Well I gotta try it, maybe my pig is sweet and wont shake rattle and roll so much. But I aint gonna Rustoleum the POS till I see the practicalities of it.

Here is the mount a little closer to finished, I was able to fire up the bike and decide to risk goin on with this one as vibs didnt seem out of bounds. Got a smoother idle since I had the PC111 put on?????



Wiring ?? goin down the trunk to the switched accessory plug (need a doubler) then my switch would turn on both? Or take the seat air pump to the B+ plug on the side and use the switched accessory for the GPS?
Plug the damn headphone jack into AUX on my Harmed Karmon and play tunes out of stored MP3 files on the gamin then the little witch in the box can still override andgive me riding instructions??

Think the B+ terminal is out cause on the XL its hot all the time gonna assume its like that for the glide I aint takin the seat off jus yet. Cant believe these connectors have to be ordered and not in stock at a HD dealer , After all its listed as a dealer only item.
A splice kit is mentioned in the seat instructions that is supposed to convert one or more of the switched acc. connectors into an (on when key switch is on) deal, stands to reason this can happen since its a 4 place Duesch connector. headed in that direction now. Supposedly have "splicer kits" layin all over in the service dept.

I road tested my contraption ,, Much better than I thought. Even on a pretty rough concrete road. very stable and not any vibs to worry about. Think I may build a sun hood for it, to shade the screen even though it's visible enough,, I noted while I had it in the truck it got pretty warm sitting in the sun and warm is not good for electronics so I've heard. I loaded up some musac on the MP3 and it plays good thru the AUX port on the radio. But the little girl inside should still be able to talk when she wants? I'm guessin and overide the musac. Weird,, I took some "screenshots" but discovered they only play on your computer when you access the GARMIN drives.
You cant see em with the Garmin itself. Little annoyed with an idiot screen that pops up first, advising Not to screw around too much on the touchin screen while drivin as it could cause an accident. This fugger pops up every time You cycle power.

Vlade, i've designed a way to put my gps in(on) my fairing pouch, and sent it to a really talented custom car stereo guy,will post picks of it as soon as we get'r done. it will be inset in the front, and the box remains functional for puttin stuff in.

Lookin forward to seein that. So far so good if my Electric adapters show up. I might have it layed out by weeks end. So many things to do for Vacation/Herstockfest and I'm a lazy fugger.
Takes a pot of coffee just to get basic motivationals going.
