Well Lesson learned, Always make contact before you go to these small town events. The ride down and arround was cool anyways but,,,,No Bikes on main street,,story was intersting.
Seem's last month when the charity money was presented to a small poor Babtist church the preacher said "NO I don't take money from boozin women chasin bikers",,,lol
So they took the money and gave it to another local church near by. The first preacher lost quite a bit of his followers,,,lol. anyways no event In Wauchula.
Lots of Bike's out and about,,It was a good ride.

Wauchula FL Bikes On Main Street,,

I'm headed down this AM, Wauchla Is a small town in southern central florida, my grandfather Is burried there and I got lots of family there.
One of my cousins owns a Square Mile of land. Thats the way people bought land way back in the 20's. Farmers they are and this family owns a fishing fleet In Alaska.
When I was a young whippersnapper and Just outta High school I asked Uncle Jimmy If I could go work on the fishing fleet In Alaska.
He Laughed His ass off,,said "Boy you get killed on the boats, no way", Told me how hard it was an I wasn't built for it. Guess I didn't eat my wheaties,,lol.
I 'll take some Pictures, there ain't much of old florida left these days what with all the Yankee snowbirds movin down here and using up all the water and gettin into local gov'ment and screwin with things,,Gated communities,,#%^&@.
My Grandfather moved down there off hwy 17 just after WW I and bought a place an open a general store. This was back when ya bought gas from the pumps where ya filled up the glass jug on top of the pump, checked the ammount and fed that into your car.
