  • Daughter's first ride

Here is a picture of my daughter's (Mackenzie) first ride with me. I told her as soon as she could reach the floor boards, she could go for a ride. She can reach and loves to ride. I can't get her off of the thing now, I suppose that's a good thing.

She liked it more than I thought, I thought she would've been scared like her mother, but I guess she takes after me. Just glad she doesn't look like me. LOL.

It's already started. She had to invite a boy that she described as dreamy to her bitrthday party. I thought girls were supposed to think boys were gross at her age? (7) I'm already getting the shotgun ready.

I tried to get her to ride a 50cc dirtbike last summer, that didn't go so well. She forgot that she had to let off the gas to stop. She wants to try again this year though.

That's great Justin! That will be a forever memory for both ya's.
Tried teaching my daughter when she was about 6 with my sons suzuki jr 50. Got it for him when he was 4. he took to it like a duck to water but she never did. too much like her mom. Both are sissys, but their my sissies an wouldn't trade em for nuttin. Do wish my OL would ride her own tho.

Very cool Justin. I can't get my 13 year old daughter on with me. My 15 year old daughter is always ready for a ride.

My 15 year old is always ready too. Would love to get her on her own bike now, but the Ex would have a fit. She'll be 18 soon enough though! :) Wouldn't that be a great graduation present?

All you had to say was EX, I guess your hands are tied. Right now I'm designing a throttle stop for the bike that my daughter crashed last year. I figure this way, she cant get away from me so fast. It's amazing how fast I can run when I have to, well funny anyway.

One of my friends had a good idea. He tied a string around the spark plug wire of his sons bike, and when he couldnt catch him, he pulled on the string. It didn't work, but it was a good idea. LOL.
