Approaching my 1k service!

Well, passed the 500 mile mark today, and made an appointment to get the 1k service done next Friday. I am continually impressed with my new girl! She handles like a dream, and I am already more comfortable riding her than any bike I have owned....scraped my heel twice already on hard corners. The power is the biggest difference between it and previous bikes (Metrics). It doesn't matter what gear, whether I'm going uphill...when you twist the throttle the response is automatic and bordering on violent! :) I had a nice little afternoon ride when classes were done today, about 50 chilly miles. I'm hoping the weather keeps improving and we don't get any more late spring surprises like the 6 inches of snow I woke to yesterday morning! Bike show in town this weekend I'm gonna have to go check out and hopefully some riding to be done!

Me too...I'm within 300 miles of my first service. I have reviewed my accessory list (air cleaner, speedo, covers) with my financial director/Big Red/Linda/wife and have a tentative approval. I have another review scheduled for next week and I'm hoping for final approval. Wish me luck!

Yes, the accessory list never ends! :) My rack is in so it will go on when its in for service...now just waiting for my slotted air cleaner cover and I will be all caught up.....till I pick out more stuff I "need" !

It appears I need to down-size my pics to post them. I have one in my album now, and I'll work on getting some more! Loving the new "Pasture" here, and thanks to the mods for the pass. Was nice to be able to look at some pictures and check out all the sweet rides! Working on hitting that 100 post mark, so I am elegible for an eartag! :)
