me n stonecrab met up again last Sunday fro a ride up to Johnson city tn. took 23 up through Erwin (smith HD was our destination)...came back down 19 through roan mountain and spruce pine......once again i left the pic taker at home so one of the gurls sent me what she had

hell I had a great time riding with ya man, as always. That HD shop in johnson city was a good one, for a stealership. i managed a pic in the parking lot where we stopped and got a few of the bikes but some were outside my view. Think we had 9? bikes all told this time. Was another long day scootin around the hills with some really good peeps! Lookign at he pic I see my front wheel is opposite all y'alls. figures a Mikey would screw up an organized plan. But hey that's me, half pole cat 3/4 mule.HERD Member #00086

I must have missed this. Next time if you like twisties take 197 north out of Burnsville and it'll drop you right into Erwin and it's a GREAT ride. Then done 23 to OLD 19W back to Burnsville. 19W on that run is one of the prettiest roads I've ever been on. Nice sweepers, follows the river down and lots of old farms, barns, etc. 197 south out of Burnsville will take you back to Asheville but be on notice there's a 5 mike stretch of dirt on the south run. Catches you off guard but it's worth it....another beautiful run.#00038 MAY HE REST IN PEACE!
