Yeah, I made it almost exactly halfway to Laughlin. I got to my mom's in Utah to stay the night. The next morning my fuel line fitting at the tank started leaking gas like a sieve. So, I ride to Timpanogos HD in Lindon, UT for the repair. $150 later and I'm back up and running. Then the next morning I see on the news that Cedar City, Ut (on my route) is under a winter storm watch. So, yet another day in Utah. Needless to say, after 3 days of rain in Northern Utah and snow in Southern Utah, I said screw it and rode home yesterday. Fuggin bummer. I hate to say it, but I SHOULD HAVE TRAILERED!!!!-Steve, MSgt USAF

The scoot ran like a clock...even with all the weight on it... was funny cuz on the way back to SoCal yesterday I would pull out and pass guys on their stripped out road rockets..(no baggage at all other than a sleeping bag)....the look on their faces to see a loaded bagger blast past them was too cool...and the Thunderheader was singin' it's tune too.....Lee.......
