  • Million Mile Monday - NE Illinois

Anyone going on the City Limits/Wildfire Million Mile Monday 200 mile round trip to Starved Rock State Park in Utica, IL? I'll be leaving City Limits at 9:30-9:45 with the group and I believe we will be going to Wildfire to meet up with that group for a 10:30-10:45 departure.

I might even remember my camera this time.

We do have another run that Mrs. and I are doing tomorrow but that's only going to be around a 70 or 80 mile starting at 10AM. Trying to lure CLL375 but he got a new TV and is building a shelf and if he can finish it today....He is on it as well.

Well, it's a little late, but here is my info on the Million Mile Monday ride from City Limits to Starved Rock. We left City Limits around 9:45 to ride the 15 miles or so to the sister store, Wildfire. We joined up there with a bunch more folks. I still don't know what the final count was, but I think there were about 40-50 bikes in total. From Wildfire, we traveled in two separate groups to Starved Rock State Park. Here a few pics that I took (I still can't take pics and ride at the same time).

Here is my bike on the left at City Limits:

A few of the other bikes and folks at City Limits:

A few shots at City Limits taken by one of their folks that actually include me:

Here I am again with my hand in my pocket listening to the safety briefing:

That goes into the UPS site behind the dealership. They probably ran a truck into it!
