              Oh yeah, I'm in TX

              Outskirts of Austin.

              Speaking of....

Any of you Texan Herd types going to the RoT this year?

The ROT Biker Rally is where Texas bikers enjoy 4-Days of live music, custom bikes, vendors, fun, and memorable times.

I'll more than likely do the parade and hang out on 6th Friday night...the rest is shaky at best, gotta bud's band playing in Pfluger on Saturday night...
It's not "derailed", as long as the last post relates to the post above it...it's just on a different rail, heading into a more interesting direction

I would entertain the idea - Gotta get a hold of Jonsey and Rubberdown to see if they want to go as well. The HD forum has gtr*something out of Ft. Worth or Dallas area.

If you go, I'd recommend indoor activities during the day, otherwise you'll be wore the f*ck out by nightfall. You all know how hot it gets this time of year.

Not sure of that Friday - I might have to leave late Friday or early Saturday. Not sure when the parade is taking place....

7:30 PM is when the first bike leaves the event grounds....they say the first bike arrives downtown before the last bike leaves the grounds....I do know, in the staging area, there's bikes as far as you can see in both directions...you don't actually have to have an event pass to get in the parade.

Kinda gettin tired of the rally gig anyway, it's pretty much a flea market in the daytime. At least at night there's the titty parade.

                        What night(s) is the parade?
I have not been in too many parades - The biggest one was 6000 bikes but that was years and years ago.

Friday night, they have live music on the street downtown, and all of Congress street becomes bike parking till about 3am or so.
