We could do a whole HERDSTOCK in Colorado. Too many roads that must be ridden.

I noticed two things he never crossed the center line and you did not see one bicycle coming downhill I would assume they all die before reaching the summit.

It was a car day only ride during the filming of that video. Bicycle dieing is bad mojo Dan plus...who could peddle that far anyway!

Har! Yeah, They all get airlifted down.

Climbed it on the Shovel a while back.
          It's a lot of 1st and 2nd gear stuff.
Don't worry about the "No Rails" thing.
You won't be going very fast. Not uphill anyway. :-)

There is an extinct volcano in New Mexico that Michelle and I went to when we were out there................www.nps.gov/cavo/ and the ride up to the summit is similar to this video as there is not one guard rail and its a he!! of a long way down if you make a mistake.

They are too dang tired after riding up to hold the brakes to ride down......lol

And I didn't see a center line for him to cross for most of the road and he is entitled to half the road...lol

Most of the road had no center line and few roads in CO have guardrails because the plows need to push the snow off the roads and yes the do lose plowtrucks a friend of mine drove one on Silverton Pass and had some bad stories

Looks like fun. My dyna with the 44mmCV engine controller never missed a lick in CO at 12,500 feets sooooo I guess she will act right at 14+ thousand.

                      All that to say......

Mt Evens is just a "Say you dun it" road.
Beautiful view from the top. Not the best riding conditions otherwise.
Slow. Full of cages you cant pass. The road is bad. Frost heaves really do a number on it.
There are a zillion good riding roads in Co. and I would rate this one in the lower third. Really. Only get that high because of the view.
