  • Another Fat Boy Build

Some of you have asked about my bike, so I figured it was time to start a thread about my build. My 93 Fat Boy started to ooze some oil so I figured while I was replacing gaskets I would freshen her up. New parts include cam, honing and rings, head work, exhaust, ignition parts, paint, and a bunch of other chit. I started it a while ago so I'll post some pics to get you caught up.

I was archery hunting and wasn't working on it but I shot a nice buck, got it cut up and am back to work on the bike. Once I get my taillight and turn signals mounted I'll get some more pics up.

Ok I finally sucked it up and started drilling holes in my fender. I'm pretty anal when it comes to things so I wouldn't do it till everything was perfect. Next step is cutting a square hole in the back for the taillight.

Tell me again, why do we tear a perfectly good Harley apart and start changing chit???

Keep the pictures coming, but I want to see some fab work....not just bolt on crap!!!

Hey how are you mounting your taillight? I cut out the support in my old fender for the taillight and was gonna epoxy it in the new fender. Would like to know if there is a better way.

Maybe a dumb question,(excuse my ignorance) the marks on the fender for cutting or alignment?

I really appreciate the build and mod pic's that get posted here.

                      Hmmmm............................orange wrap.

Well some marks are for cutting and others for alignment. I marked it up quite a bit though

AHH we do it to make it our own! Oh and no poser here, not much fab work to be done just the rear fender and the pipes. Actually if you look at the pics you can see a bobber build that I put on the backburner till the FB is done. It was built by me including frame!

to do that you have to use an illumination module with built in load equalizer

but thanks, I thought it would be cool, guess I shall see

for yours maybe you could look into an aftermarket light
