we started off friday night with the bike running in the low 7.80's and saturday we layed down a 7.77 in 1st round Q. 2nd Q the tech official was giving john a hard time about getting his pro license and bobby forgot to plug in the coils, so when we went to fire it we loaded the cylinders with nitro and had to abort the round, 3rd round the 2nd solenoid didn't work and run a 8.13. saturday night we work on the bike to fix the solenoid,

we ended up 4th in qualifying(i posted 5th saturday)

1st round sunday we're paired with the #5 Qualifier, a bandidos sponsored bike. his bike won't fire , so john gets a solo pass to the win light. john is 2 and 0 against the bandidos. we out run him in greensboro ealier this year.

solenoid still doesn't work , we run a 8.03. we work on the solenoid and 3rd round we're paired with the #1 plate holder and a very seasoned race.

we stage, drop the hammer and john beats the guy off the line, but not enough motor to do any thing with him. we run another 8.03 to his 7.74. so the days is over we deliver the carb to johnny vickers to fix the solenoids before the race in greensboro. then on to rockingham in october. i hope to see some of you guys there.

bill purvis, this is who we run in 2nd round.

Those who say it can't be done should get in the way of those doing it.

Looks like a fun time either way. Like to see the sporties making passes.

We may be going to VIR this weekend to watch the XLR 1200's run (plus one other division : ) )

Keep on plugging at it. It always turns around....
