looking thru the freezer and fridge trying to decide what to cook for dinner tonight.......I found a little of this, and a little of that, and I thunk I got a good idea....
we will see when the kids get home from school
found 3 good sized pkgs of deer tenderloin
so once it was thawed, I sliced it into really small thin stripps. tossed them into a pan with some very thinly sliced green bell pepper, and a very thinly sliced onion. add a dash of garlic powder, some montreal steak seasoning, a little bit of basil, and a small amount of cracked peppercorn.
splash on a few shots of worcestershire sauce, and about a cup of water. simmered for a while till the meat was fully cooked and getting almost soft enough to fall apart. drained the water and added almost a full bottle of A1 steak sauce. put a lid on the pan and set it back on the stove on low, just to simmer for a bit
I have some cheddar and motzerella cheese in the fridge.
we is having my version of Philly Cheese steak sammiches tonight
what'chall thunk?
