  • Maybe trading the Fighter Plane project

I'm going to Ashland on Saturday morning to look at this 48 Ford rat rod. He loves the bike, and I love his truck.

The truck has a fresh 350 sb with a 350 tranny. Inspected and clean title.

nly thing I plan to do is to put my shop name on it in scratched typical block letters "Blacksheep Kustoms". I can't wait to see this truck in person. I missed one in Ohio about 3 weeks ago .

Yes, that is in the plans also. I may do some special airbrushed stuff here and there. But, some of these guys go way too far overboard on these trucks. Maybe I can do some horse swappin with Devildogbagger on some real simple striping......hmmmmmmm

Can't wait to see how you turn it out.
It's not "derailed", as long as the last post relates to the post above it...it's just on a different rail, heading into a more interesting direction

I'm really diggin the front Model A spokers on the front. This is just gonna be a run around truck on the weekends. He said it's like riding in a go cart. Very fast.

Man, that really does look good. The other pic was deceiving, compared to this one, and the stance of the truck. I still think the front needs to be lowered, however, shortening the frame rails up front and getting abetter radiator shroud is in order as well. That truck has the makings of a really nice, era hot rod. Me likie....
