Ugh, I don't have the right version of Flash Player and I don't have administrative rights on my work computer. I'll see if Frank can show it to me!

Thanks Dan, if that doesn't put things into perspective nothing will...

Thanks Dan. Last night Beth and I went out to dinner at a local restaurant. Next door is a ice cream place. A soldier was in his uniform. Walked up to him and shook his hand then said thank you. He seemed a little surprised. I hope he gets a lot more. He deserves it.

Surprised like he didn't know why you were thanking him or surprised that you did?

It's often forgotten just how much stress is put on the family of a military member. I can't watch these videos with out crying. I love my country and our military...it really hits home.

Very touching. I agree with you, Check. People often forget, or don't realilze, the sacrifices of service men and women, as well as their family and loved ones. I have the highest respect for anyone who has or currently serves, both in Canada and the US. Thanks for sharing this, Dan.

Thanks for your service Check! My son is in the Navy; he's waiting for his next set of orders. Three possibilities: Everett, San Diego or Afghanistan for the 2nd time.

Great video Dan - thanks for posting it.

I think he didn't know why.. He was just a kid of around 19. Probably hasn't been back home since he enlisted or went to basic. So he's still wet behind the ear to people that are thankful and I'm sure a whole lot more.
