Is it possible to download a Youtube video to a disc.....??

I think you would have to use a capturing software to capture the video as it plays then save it, something like FRAPS to capture the video.

yes if you use Firefox as your browser you can go to addons and do a search for youtube...I use one called "1-Click YouTube Video Downloader"

I think that one saves it in MP4 format so you can load it on you ipod....it may allow you to choose a differnt format

Couple ways...Try any of these and see if it works.

1) Play the video in your browser and wait until the whole thing has finished

2) Open your temporary internet files folder and sort by size in descending order. Videos because of their size will mostly be the biggest.

For example, in IE7 go to tools\Internet Options and then under Browsing History click the "settings" button then the "view files" button.

3) The video file names may be huge and they may not have an .flv (flash video) extension on them. But you can tell by the filename and size that it's a video because they will have something like "videoplayback" as part of the file name.

4) Right click and copy the file from temporary internet files folder, then paste it to a normal folder. If the name doesn't have an extension, rename it. Give the file any name you like but put a .flv extension on the end.

5) Then play it using an flv media player. There are many, I use VLC media player which is free.

Another way -

You can also use "Real Player". It is a free download media player. When it is down loaded and set up, a little pop up window comes up when you hold the mouse over the video you want to down load. You can also right click on the video and select it that way as well. It works on You tube and pretty much all other streaming sites. Have used it a few times now, pretty easy to set up.

Down load the real player basic as that is the free one. The other ("SP" i think) is only a trial version.

It might be possible in other ways but I'm not that much of a computer geek to know.

gotta get you a little vid cam and a tripod stick it up close to the screen turn it on and play the you tube be real careful to get it focused and try to frame just the tube not all the extra stuff on the screen. works good on the free porn sites almost like you taped it yurself.

On a Macintosh, all ya gotta do is open the video in the browser and click "save as"... it'll save as a WMV or MP4 right to your desktop...

FILES who needs em? you file em then forget where they are and if you do know where they are when you got back to get em they wont open cause some little dibit is missin now and they wont budge. Then you go online to find the program that made em and can open em and online says "blip,blip" pause "we just cant find S##t, Try screwin yurself with a cheese grater"
