Get out! Makes you wonder what influence she will have on her students.

At least the Superintendent has his head in the right place
"(Messages say) that we have violated that student's First Amendment rights and the so-called teacher needs to 'get the hell out of my country,'" said District Superintendent Mike Brusa.

Cant argue with what the superintendent relayed from the comments and as a matter of fact I will help the so called "teacher" out of the country.

I really don't understand, why people who find this country offensive, don't just move the f**k out of our country. There's NOTHING stopping them from moving to their new favorite places to live. Her citizenship privileges should be on the line for this.

I guess that is the down side to the first amendment.

To Liberals, the first amendment only applies if you're talking shit about the conservatives.

You honestly don't think that's going to happen with who we currently have in office? I mean don't get me wrong I 100% agree with you.

I have heard people say it is their right to speak that way and my answer is always that it is also my right to kick your [email protected]@ for speaking that way. That statement generally shuts them up.

No I don't believe it will happen, he'll probably revoke the Superintendents citizenship.

That's something my wife often would complain about. While she was at University, it drove her nuts to pay for a class, then sit there all semester while the instructor gave his/her personal opinion instead of following the facts in the book.......

This is another example of Obama leading his people by saying it's ok not to wear the flag pin on his lapel, or hold his hand over his heart. I'm sure he does it for Kenya, but not here......

Her first amendments rights should not infringe on my child's first amendment right not to listen to her political crap!! But if my kid was to get up and leave her class then it would be my kid in the wrong in the teacher's eyes. That is where the school needs to control her first amendment crap! My wife can't talk about Jesus in her school unless a student brings it up first. Some people worship Obama, so a teacher shouldn't be allowed to bring up his name either! Don't get me started! lol

here is the email I sent to the assistant principal who sent the kids home for wearing the American Flag shirts

why would you ever tell an AMerican student and American citizen they
cannot wear clothing that has an American Flag on it?

Because it was a day meant to celebrate teh independance of a different nation?

if you can't "tolerate" the sight of an American flag, then take your
ass back to Mexico. This is the United States of America, if you want to celebrate a mexican
holiday, then go back to mexico where you belong

Odd thing is, my wife is from Mexico, and she says nobody down there celebrates May 5th... besides it's only a celebration of some Mexican town beating some French soldiers...that's like celebrating beating a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

Its' funny how after watching the video to that story I am now offended by any Art teacher named Saunders. What in the world is wrong with these people? I wear an American flag on my right sleeve almost every single day PLEASE let someone tell me that it offends them!

it's like durring the first gulf war, Desert Storm, the Kuwaitis wanted the American troops to take off the flag patch from their uniforms and BDUs cause it was offensive to them....at that point there, Bush shoulda said, "no, problem, if it offends you, we will take our Flags back home"

and good point Mo, thing is, it would be the same thing as if alot of Americans went to some foreign country and tried getting that country to celebrate July 4th

I understand and agree, but who really made May 5th a holiday? I'm willing to bet it was some Chicanos (Americans of hispanic origin) and not actually Mexicans, but more than likely it's just another "White Guilt" holiday, that's why the Libs so fiercly defend it.

It's pretty much only celebrated in ONE town in Mexico, and all over the US...which further makes me believe it's Libs that started this crap.

I've got a Texas flag shirt, that I reserve for March 2 every year.

That's pretty typical. We celebrate St. Patrick's day here more than anyone celebrates it in Ireland but I doubt anyone would complain if you wore an American Flag T-shirt on St. Paddy's day! These easily offended people drive me %&*@ nuts!
