I have a friend who just got a bike and license last year, she has this old crock of a bike, I was hoping she would get a new one...a friend of our has a Sporty for sale....anyways she didn't go for it and decied she wanted to get necessary repairs done to the old crock....

I told her to get a new rear tire for it and I received this email this morning.....

She sounds like the little gal I went to my Motorcycle safety course with...Poor girl, that little honda 250 spent more time on its side than it ever did on it's wheels.....and she was gonna do a cross country with her brother on a crotch rocket when she got certified......She didnt pass by the way...She needed "alot" more pratice.......in a grassy field, somewhere in scottland, with the sheep to bounce off of........LOL !!

She does remind me of your avatar though Brian.......(sigh) I do miss watching her crash.......she was "HOT" !! LOL !!!

Actually she did real well at the course, passed first try, got her license first try....its the bike acting like crap thats not helping and she knows nothing about bikes! But pretty good rider for the amount of time she's been at it! I took her for a 350 mile run a few days before her test, the next day her arms were numb etc.......:)

She survived, we only had to pick the bike up a couple of times. She wanted to go visit a friend that lived up a real steep hill, gravel driveway and a 90 degree turn 1/2 way up! She got a bit of a cut and bruise from that one, dented the tank, bent the clutch lever...
