as alot of you know, my daughter was born in november with a rare heart defect where she has no left ventrical what so ever. its correctible with a series of open heart surgeries. we lived in a ronald mcdonald house from novmeber up until feb 1st of this year and she has been doing awesome!!!!
anyhow, her 3rd open heart surgery is tomorrow morning. were moving back to the hospital in oak lawn IL tonight. this time we should only be there for 4-10 days. as long as everything goes as well as the last surgery.
after this she will need one more scheduled surgery when she is two years old. and if all goes well after that she wont need anymore. just regular cath angiograms every year or two.
so wish us luck, ill be on the forum most liley while she is in surgery and the days fater for recovery.
